Production Scheme
The corrugated sheets are made of fibre cement, which is produced in the Hatschek procedure. The "ingredients" for fibre cement contains of portland cement, tuff, cellulose (process fibres), polyvinyl alcohol fibres (reinforce fibres), microscopic small air spaces and water. These materials are mixed carefully in a stirrer. The cement-bonded particles are filtered through an endless fleece from the water and are transferred to the format roller. The particles are rolled up on the format roller as long as the necessary thickness of the material is reached. The developed wrapping of the format roller with fibre cement is cut open and the raw board is forwarded to the corrugation exhauster. The fibre cement boards are packed on a stack and wrapped with foil. This way they can naturally harden for 3 weeks (naturally conditioning time of cement). Afterwards the corrugated sheets receive a colour coating and are ready for sale.
