Concrete Roof Tiles

The functions of Euronit concrete tiles are similar to those of other heavy roofing materials. Despite the basic utilitarian functions such as protection and safety of house inhabitants and drainage of water and snow from roof surface they must also serve aesthetic function. Their aim is to provide their users with comfort, warmth, and safety. Their shape has a great impact on the aesthetic appearance of entire house, which only with the roofing gains its character.

Base tiles have been designed so as to ensure maximum comfort to their users and facilitate installation on the roof. Their construction involves new solutions concerning the shape of the upper and lower part of tile:

• bulging longitudinal seam and water barriers facilitating fast drainage of water from the tile surface,
• deeply profiled side laps additionally protecting the surface from growing moss and layering of sediments,
• undersurface ribbing – due to this there is an airbag effect on the leeward side of the tile which lowers the amount of penetrating snow and rain,
• double strengthening ribs on the undersurface increasing stability and acceptable tile loading,
• four supporting projections – enabling proper distribution of tile deadweight as well as loading imposed by wind and snow, simultaneously preventing ridge beams from getting damp and rotting.
